Note Course Bonus: The Path New Note Brokers Should Take

Published: Tue, 06/10/08

Hello again ,

Should you believe the infomercials on cash flow brokering?

Should you pay money to a company that trains you to find notes
and bring them to that company to buy?

In this Note Course Bonus Lesson, Michele Robbins outlines
"the path" for success as a new note broker. I think you'll
enjoy her article.

Tomorrow is the deadline for inclusion in the print version of the
2008 PAPER SOURCE REGISTRY OF NOTE INVESTORS. For 17 years the
Registry has been where note buyers and sellers
meet. It is the most accurate list in existence of note investors
and what they buy, because it is constantly updated on the
Internet, sometimes weekly, even daily. The Internet version
features direct links to investors' e-mails and websites for
on-line submission of notes.

If you or your firm buys (not brokers) notes -- or offers a
product or service to the industry -- you should be in the Registry.
This is your last chance for the annual print edition.

A form is at www.PaperSourceOnline.com/reg-form.htm

Or call 1-800-542-2270.

THE PRINT EDITION DEADLINE IS TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30.

P.S. If you want to be among the first to get the Registry of
Note Investors hot off the press, go to

THE PATH
by Michele Robbins, CPA

This industry can be fun...and it can be cut-throat...and it can
be lucrative...and it can be a waste of time. In the end it is only
what you put into it and take from it.

You do not need a Small Business Loan, or an infomercial,
or an expensive seminar to get into this business. You need a quiet
place to work, the commitment to WORK (not stand by the
mailbox and wait for a check), a phone, a fax, a computer, a
calculator, internet hookup, a couple of beginner book courses
(not expensive seminars), and enough time to learn and act upon what
you have learned. Read, read, read...on the Internet if you must.

Take advice from those who have succeeded and do what they
did at first. Why re-invent the wheel before you even learn to
drive?

If you have read the articles at www.PaperSourceOnline.com,
www.cashflows.org (and The Complete Package:
www.papersourceonline.com/complete.htm -- ed.) why would you
still consider an expensive seminar fee? Am I missing something?

And many of you still ask, "yes...but what about this
company...They teach me to bring my notes to them...Is that okay?"

Hmmm...if I had no morals or ethics...I might have to change
professions. I could pay for a TV infomercial...and then charge
people thousands of dollars for a seminar where I could teach
them how to find notes and then...teach them to bring those notes
to ME...so that I could turn around and sell them to the people
that are in THE PAPER SOURCE REGISTRY OF NOTE INVESTORS...

Sort of funny how that works, huh?

Here's the path I think a new note broker should take:

1) Learn the basics - the PAPER SOURCE's free e-course is a great
start; There are also great beginner course books available;

2) Find an experienced, reputable investor that will work with you
through your first few deals;

3) Stay away from any company that wants you to pay them for bringing
them notes. This means seminars, websites, individuals, and
institutions.

There is no magic pill to become wealthy overnight.
Instead, you must look at this as a business, one that you must
cultivate and work for.

You'll know when you're ready to walk-the-walk.
